You could ride your bike everywhere, everyone knew everyone else, and there were always plenty of baseball games, biking through Tyler Park and eating ice cream at Goodnoes to keep a kid a happy. Now, I am raising my 3 boys in Holland only a few miles away from where I grew up. We still get to take our kids to Goodnoes, for walks in Tyler and I can't wait for them to start playing sports in the next few years.
